Maggie's Favorite Fabric Line for January
This month we received five bolts of "Humming Along" from Wilmington Prints
We love the beautiful humming birds in the panel and toss. Embracing the theme --
"Say yes to New Adventures" is a goal for 2019. Why do the same thing over, when a new adventure awaits us. In addition we have three ombre fabrics complementing this beautiful collection. (Look for Denise to teach her braided boarder class in February featuring these fabric.)

New "Tuesday's Tools"
We will be featuring a quilting/sewing tool or ruler each month and demonstrating how its can be used on the 4th Tuesday of each month.
This month we are featuring the "Trapezoid Strip Ruler" by Creative Grids.
Tuesday, January 22nd at 1:30pm we will demonstrate this fun ruler. Come see how to make the "Attic Window" block without "Y" seams! Can I hear an AMEN!

A very special thank you for the "50", yes "50" Quilt tops
donated to us for Calvary Community Church. Approximately 1/3 of the quilts are being quilted for Salvation Army's men outreach, 1/3 of the quilts are being used for baby
dedication blankets and the final 1/3 are Linus blankets or Hope batter women's shelter in Auburn Washington.
WE WANT TO SAY THANK YOU to all our customers who helped purchase the batting and who are helping with the quilt down and bindings. You are all so special to us and are blessing SEW many through your actions.

Wednesday, January 9th with Maggie 5:00pm to 7:30pm
Thursday, January 10th with Cathy - 3:30pm to 5:00pm
This is a 12 month BOM - $25 registration (includes the first months kit)
$11.00 a month for the kit
Batik Fabrics
Registration is Required
Beginning February - Classes are held on the
3rd Wednesday and Thursday of each month
January (only) BOM dates are the 2nd Wednesday and Thursday.
"As You Wish" Mystery Quilt
Saturday January the 5th from 9:30 to 4:30
We have three spaces still available.

Mystery Quilt with Tracy
$35 class fee + fabric of your choice
Prior to class you will need to pre-cut your fabric.
Fabric and cutting instructions are given when you register.
**Please make sure to bring a lunch for you and a snack for the crowd**
Lone Star Quilt Class
1:30pm to 3:30pm

Saturday, January 26th
10:30am - 12:30pm
Class Fee: $15.00 plus $15.00 for Star Kit Fabric - $30 total
Additional Cost: You choose your background and border fabric (Star Kit fabric is pre-selected and purchased when you register)
Pre-Registration is required
Pre-Cutting instructions given when you register for the class. This is a 2 hour class. Please be prepared and set up at 1:30pm. We will go over cutting and piecing this beautiful Lone Star lap size quilt. Note you probably will not finish in class but will have the knowledge to finish at home. Finished size is approx. 45 3/4" x 45 3/4".
The Dalles - 2019 Block of the Month

This is a 12 month BOM - Blocks are made by "paper piecing"
$50 registration (includes the first 2 months kit & $25 for the pattern)
