April Fools! The April table runner class will be taught in May. Butterfly banner table runner. Class will be May 3, 2017 1:30 pm-3:30 pm and May 5th, 2017 6:30 pm- 8:30 pm. Materials cost is $19.50 and class $5.00.

The 2017 "Block of the month club" begins on May 24, 2017. We are using the Fancy Forest Pattern by Elizabeth Hartman. The kit for a lap size quilt cost is $65.00 for the first six months. We will then create a flying geese border with other corners and elements the 7th-11th months. These borders will be sold separately. Hurry we will only have enough supplies for 8 to 10 people.  Heavenly Quilts will be at Falls Creek retreat center May 17th-20th, serving our Washington Stars Quilters. Norm and Denise will be minding the shop. Please stop by and say hello. There will not be any open sew or classes during this week. Mystery Quilt: "Three Charms" is the theme for our next Mystery Quilt event. Classes are offered on May 27th and June 10th. Cost for the class will be $35.00 and we must have 6 people to sign up for each class. Cutting instruction and fabric requirements can be emailed or picked up at the shop. Pre-payment is required. Fabric must be precut. Looking forward to having Tracy as our teacher again. Set up will start at 8:30 am and class will start at 9:00 am. Please bring a potluck item and Maggie will provide spaghetti. Table runner of the Month: This month we will be putting together our Stars and Stripes table runner. The kit price will be $19.50 which will also include the pattern. There will also be a charge of $5.00 for the class. Classes will be held May 10th and May 12th. Choose your time of 1:30 pm- 3:30 pm or 6:30 pm-8:30 pm.  Paper piecing will be held on May 25th. We will be doing a butterfly pot holder taught by Cathy cost of Kit $6.50 and class $5.00.
