Beginning Quilting - 4 class series

Looking for a beginning quilting class?  We are offering a 4 class series starting July 11th, 2026.  Cheri Foster will guide you through the steps to create a quilt that uses 2 different fabrics to make a beautifully patterned quilt using just one quilt block! At the end of the four sessions, you will have a completed quilt top that measures 60" x 80" before adding any optional borders.  This size is perfect to top a twin bed or use as a throw quilt in your living/family room.

Session 1- July 11th: Learn about the different tools quilters use and how to cut your fabrics for this project.
Session 2 - July 25th: Learn the first step in creating the blocks for your quilt.
Session 3 - August 8th: Learn how to complete your blocks.
Session 4 - August 22nd: Learn how to lay out and sew together your blocks to create the quilt top.

Sessions will start at 9:30am and end at 1:30pm, giving approximately 4 hours of instruction and construction time.  If you do not compete the steps during class time, you will be expected to complete them at home prior to the next class.

*Due to the size of our classroom, the number of class participants will be limited to 5, but we will need a minimum or 3 participants to hold this series.  We will have a waiting list for a future class series available.
*Students are asked to park in our back lot and enter through our back door.  Please feel free to bring snacks and drinks to class, but have liquids in a resealable container.
