Purchase pattern and all fabric and supplies listed.
Bring machine and all usual sewing supplies to class. Wonder clips and
a silicone pressing sheet or parchment paper will be helpful for
completing bag. Also a stiletto is helpful, I prefer the ByAnnie product.
Please complete BEFORE coming to class: Cut 27x40 inch front and
27x40 inch lining and 27x40 inch bosal as per instructions. You may cut
all other pieces as instructed but DO NOT CUT the handle fabric pieces.
My methods and measurements will vary from pattern.
QUILT the 3 layers for front, lining and bosal as per instructions on page
2-3 of the pattern. It is important to mark and quilt as per instructions.
Trim to size listed. These are large pieces requiring a large space. Doing
this at home will give you an idea of how your machine will handle this
project. It is advisable to increase your stitch length for the quilting
process. All other sewing and construction will be done in class.
