TUMar2023- V Block Ruler

We are pleased to offer again in 2023 the full Freshman year of  Tucker University

This is a course created based on the product line offered by Deb Tucker’s Studio 180
Design tools and technique sheets. Deb Tucker and her team continue to introduce new tools as well as techniques to expand the use of the tools.

We are please to host Denise Whitfeldt as the instructor for these 3 hour classes, one a month, starting February. 

Each class will feature one of the Deb Tucker tools and teach you how to make at least 1, but up to 5 different units using the tool.

Students will walk away with a technique sheet, a design sheet, and their own units to
combine into a unique quilt that combines all the lessons into one creation.

Class fee: $15.00 a month plus $7.50 for design/tech sheet 
Denise will be teaching how to use the V Block ruler with the Sidekicks and High/Low techniques. 
Class is open to persons who own the ruler or want to learn what the ruler can do. 

1. If you are seeing stars in your future then you have just found your new best friend, the V Block.  Making stars is not the only thing the V Block can do to improve your piecing techniques.  Once you learn how to use the V Block, you will not go back to those plastic templates for tracing and slicing.  Connect a V Block to a half square triangle and watch the curves develop.  The possibilities are only limited to your imagination.
2. Push the use of your V Block a bit further by learning how to create Sidekicks and High/Low units.  You will amaze your quilting friends by thinking you made a difficult unit, when in fact the use of the V Block made it so easy.
